Paris day 1

On April 10, 4:00am in the morning dad, mom, Shea, and I went to the Regina airport. We were about to go on a plane to Paris, France! First we went to Winnipeg to Toronto. When we arrived in Toronto we had to stay there for six hours before our next flight so we went to Meredith's apartment.

We gave Meredith a painting for her 22 birthday which was the next day. The painting was by Kayla Plosz one of her friends.

After the nice visit we got on the plane to Paris!

We arrived in Paris it was 10 in the morning.

When I was three years old I started getting interested in Paris. My favourite was the Eiffel Tower.

So when we arrived in Paris we got off the and met the EF group guide, Max. Max is from Rome. We also met the other groups from Newfoundland. Then we waited for the bus. The bus took an hour till it came but it was worth it! The airport wasn't really in the city of Paris it's kind of in the out-skirts. Now this was my big moment of excitement! When we arrived in Paris (the city) I was amazed! No wonder I loved it so much it was beautiful! I couldn't believe my eyes it was so amazing! That was one of my favorite moments I've ever had. The bus ride to get to our hotel was two hours! But the hotel was on the out-skirts too. 

After we got to our hotel we waited for this person in the Regina group because they took the wrong luggage at the airport! But thank goodness the person who took her luggage was from Regina also! Then after that confusion we headed to the Louvre. The Louvre is the world's largest museum. The Louvre also has the Mona Lisa and Venus Di Milo, which are one of the world's most loved pieces of art. The Louvre is very big! Thats becasue the Louvre used to be a castle and it's about seven long blocks wide! Our tour group could go into whatever section of the museum we wanted to see. It would probably take you about a month or more to see the whole museum! Our family saw the art and statues sections. We first visited the statues section. I was very intersted in the Lourve because I love art and I was so excited to see everything there. My mom thought I was going to fuss about all the walking to find the right section and she was worried I was going to be bored after a awhile but my sister and my dad were the fussers that day and my mom was very proud of me. We saw Venus Di Milo and she was my favorite. I also saw Mona Lisa which was amazing you can see why they call her smile mystery. The was really great!

They next thing we did was see the Eiffel Tower! As you know the Eiffel Tower is my favorite thing about Paris. It was about seven or eight o'clock at night. The Eiffel Tower is beautiful at night. Well when we got there we had an hour to look around ad maybe buy some food in the shops there or take pictures. We took pictures. It was an hour and we were waiting. We were waiting for Max and it was a long time till he came. While we were waiting the Eiffel Tower started to flash the lights that were on there and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen! Finally Max came and we went on a boat at 10:30 at night for an hour long boat tour. I was so tired but I was the kid on the tour who didn't sleep. My mom was happy and I was sleeping. We went back to the hotel and that was day 1 of Paris.

I'm Going Paris and Italy!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas was different this year. Since we were going to Minneapolis we didn't get any presents but I found out that I'm going to Paris and Italy!!!! I'm going on April 10 2009. I'm so excited! I'm going because my mom and my sister were already going for a school trip and ever since I was five I've wanted to go. After I get back I'm post how the trip went and I'll post pictures!!!! Okay I just wanted to tell you that bye!!!!!!!!

Minneapolis

I just got back from Minneapolis. It was so much fun we went to the Mall of America and went on rides and me and my brother Sam went on the scariest ride there and we loved it. That ride goes straight up and straight down and you go upside down and me and Sam were in the front row! We also went on a Log Chute and we got Wet! We did get a little wet but I got the most wet because I was in the front. The Mall of America was fun!

The whole meaning of the trip was to meet my sister Meredith who goes to University in Toronto with her husband Kurt. She wants to be a singer and if you want to hear some of her music go to meredithjordan.ca. I am so happy we saw her it was a great trip!

My Favorite Book

I really enjoy reading. Reading is one of the things I do to get away from everything else and enjoy a story. I just recently finished a book called "Charlotte in Paris" written by Anna Bryant. It was a good book about a girl who goes to Paris to find her lost cat, kinda silly I know but it was a good book there is other books like this one in the Beacon Street Girls series it might be interesting. But that's not my favorite book, my favorite book is "Boston Jane" by Jennifer L. Holm. It's an adventure of a girl that doesn't fit in and to do that....... well I don't want to spoil the book for you so I want tell you anymore so if you want to know to you need to read the book. If you have read it tell me how you like it.

My Birthday

I turned ten on Oct 5 this year and I want to tell you about it. These are my friends, but my friend Jayda couldn't make it (because she lives in Montreal). The girl on the left in front is Kaylee. Kaylee is a friend from school she is ten and she loves pets and she is an active fun girl. The girl ahead of her is Megan. I meet Megan at church and in grade 2 she came to our school, she is a passionate artist with silly thoughts. The one ahead of her is Me. Well I am a unique singer who loves to learn and likes politics. On the right is Morgan. I first met Morgan in preschool and we have been friends ever since. Morgan loves to learn as well and loves facts about animals and loves to write. Ahead of her is Kaitlyn. I met Kaitlyn in kindergarden but after grade 3 she moved. Kaitlyn is an crazy and creative girl and she loves monkeys? But then there's my friend Jayda. Jayda is not in this picture but she is her own kind of girl she likes to be differnet, she likes to dance and entertain people.

At my party we started off with eating pizza, cheese and pepperoni ( cheese is my fav!) and then we made rag dolls. Then we made sleepover cupcakes then we watched movies and opened presents. (It was a sleepover.) I had the best birthday ever!

Sorry

I'm so sorry that I haven't been writing for a while but my dad never told me my password and today he finally set me up again. I'm am so excited to write again. I still hope people still like to listen to it. Yesterday I got a haircut and I'll show you the picture I'm still friends with Jayda, Morgan, and Megan. Guess what Jayda moved to Montreal but she still visits. I can't wait to get more comments and here what you guys have been up to, hope you comment soon bye.
